Hi, I’m Tonya. The authentic heart behind Elevating My Calm.

I created this space out of a deeply personal journey toward finding peace in the midst of life’s noise. My journey shaped not only by the emotional weight of constant busyness, but also by living with Crohn’s disease. Managing a chronic illness has taught me the importance of slowing down, tuning in, and honoring both my body and mind. I have Crohn’s Disease, but Crohn’s Disease doesn’t have me!
Mindfulness has become more than a practice for me, it has become a lifeline, a way to navigate pain and unpredictability with compassion and clarity. Elevating My Calm was born from that place, it is my desire to share what I am currently learning and have learned and to create a peaceful space where others can feel supported and seen.
I believe we all deserve moments of stillness, resilience, and intentional living. Through this blog, I hope to offer gentle insights, simple practices, and honest reflections to help you cultivate your own inner calm, one mindful moment at a time.
